Lieutenant. Seconded to 4th Squadron Royal Flying Corps. Killed in aerial action over France on 11th April 1917. Commemorated on Arras Flying Services Memorial. Aged 20.
Francis Leslie Kitchin was born in 1896 at Bootle, Cumberland (now Cumbria). His parents, James and Helen Kitchin, later resided at 7, Morley Square, Bishopston, Bristol.
